Step-by-step guide
- Marking and cutting of the bag:
- Print the pattern draft at “Actual size” or “100% scale”. Cut out the paper pattern pieces along the solid black line.
- On the wrong side of the fabric, trace and cut the pieces from the exterior fabric and lining fabric as instructed on each pattern piece. Repeat to cut the woven interfacing and fleece interfacing. Required numbers are mentioned on pattern. Cut that much pieces.
- Important: The pattern includes a seam allowance of ½” throughout. So there's no need to take any additional margins while cutting.
- Fuse batting with Exterior pieces. First attach woven interfacing and fusible fleece together, by iron/basting, and than fuse with wrong side of all exterior.

- Stitch all the way around the top of the clutch with ½” seam allowance.
- Now pull the clutch right side out through the hole you left in the lining. Press as best you can, and tuck the lining inside the bag.
- Top stitch all around the top of the bag with a ¼” seam allowance.
- Slip
stitch the gap in the lining and close it. And you're finished!
