Permanent marker ink is water proof on canvas2craft products

We are testing : Can we wash canvas pouches after doodling by  permanent marker!!!

We have chosen to work on Canvas Wristlet Orange Zip. 

To test we need - One canvas Pouch and red and black CD marker or permanent marker of any good brand.

  We made few doodling patterns on it, using free hand. Let it dry overnight

 Now dip the whole pouch in the water, and take it out.

After drying, no color splash, smudge of ink or designs.

Disclaimer: Cora/canvas fabric are unbleached and undyed fabric; it does not have starch. And thats why colour settles on the surface very well. You can embellish canvas2craft products without washing. However, the canvas shrinks 5 - 8 % after the first wash.. So spot wash, sponge wasd and dry cleaning of embellished products is advisable.

Alankar Painting on Fabric Toran

Its difficult to keep the energy and enthusiasm in this  pandemic  Corona Virus hard time.

I gathered all my courage and  took out very old  project- Fine Canvas Toran which was incomplete because of pattern design of boarder. I struggled on Pinterest and got my inspiration. Draw the design on paper,, and quite happy with it. 

Thinking and creating the pattern on the paper was amazing feeling!!

It was full on meditation, and relaxing under bright blue sky and clear wind,, which is happening due to no human intervention in nature. (in this lockdown 1/3 population of the word staying at home)

The Pattern drawn on fabric Toran. Now colouring time.

This is going to be use as Dwaar Toran, so I plan to use warm and cold colors. Bright Red, Green, Yellow, blue and orange with pinch of black.
On the off-white background of the fabric, each of these colours will hold on their own, contributing to complete the rhythm... without dominating the other colours.

Canvas2craft Tip: while pencil drawing the pattern, you can neatly erase it also using pencil eraser.

The design was pencil drawn on fabric Toran first and than filled with acrylic colors.

So relaxing and giving me inside peace in this pandemic situation.

Colors are bright, and giving me hopes, that this time too shall pass, and i will welcome new life with lots of new lessons with this toran.
